2011 America's Favorite Trail Horse Competition

The Bailef finished third out of over 1,000 horses that auditioned for the America's Favorite Trail Horse reality television show. Only 100 ponies made it to the final 100 for the filming of the series.

The little pony with the big heart ridden by Wendy Stephens garnered thousands of votes and finished third. This earned them a featured spot in the America's Favorite Trail 2012 Calendar and many compliments as "America's Favorite Trail Pony."

2012 Cowboy Up Challenge (invitation only)
Calgary Stampede

The Bailef was the first, and only pony ever invited to compete in the International Invitation Only Cowboy Up Challenge.  This prestigious competition was held at the 100th Anniversary of the Calgary Stampede in July, 2012.  Their trip to Canada was supported by dozens of Welsh enthusiasts all over North America and countless others who watched the competition via live Internet feed from the Saddledome for three days. It was estimated over 10,000 watched in person.

The popular duo finished in the top 10 and greeted fans in the Canadian Welsh association's booth after their rounds.  While in Canada, they were interviewed more than any other competitor and were featured in numerous newspaper articles and television segments.  Each interview emphasized that he was a Welsh stallion!
